A 24-year-old man was yesterday being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit for potentially serious head injuries after a crash over the weekend.

According to a police spokesman a motorcycle crashed near the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo on North Shore Road at about 10.25pm on Saturday.

The rider was said to be travelling east when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a wall east of the aquarium.

At last check, he was being treated at the ICU for potentially serious head injuries.

Traffic was diverted on to Harrington Sound Road while the crash scene was processed by the forensics unit and traffic collision investigators.
