Traffic diversions for Belco trenching on North Shore Road
Further Belco trench work on North Shore Road has been announced.
Through traffic will be closed to drivers except for residents while trenching crosses North Shore Road between the Loyal Hill playground entrance and Loyal Hill Road, Devonshire.
The job commences August 16 and will run until September 9.
Traffic will be directed away from the dig, at Barkers Hill or Store Hill.
Additionally, a single lane will be open on North Shore Road as digging continues from Loyal Hill Road to Store Hill Road in Devonshire, expected from September 10 through to November 4.
The work for both digs will run from 7am to 6pm throughout the week, with Belco staff directing traffic.
Drivers are encouraged to use Barkers Hill or Store Hill to Middle Road as a detour.
Jonathan Pedro, Belco’s project manager, can take queries regarding trenching at 295-5111, extension 1441, while questions on detours can be directed to Tina Beer-Searle, acting principal highways engineer, at 501-3044.
