A motorcyclist sustained head injuries after a collision with a bus.

The Bermuda Police Service said the incident occurred last Friday at Barnes Corner - the junction of Middle Road and South Road Southampton.

A BPS spokeswoman stated: “Initial enquiries suggest that the bus was attempting to exit the South Road junction heading east on Middle Road, and the motorcycle was also travelling east on Middle Road when the collision occurred.

“The male motorcycle rider is believed to have sustained a head injury and was conveyed to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment.

“The male bus driver was not reported to be injured.

“There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the collision.”
