JetBlue is set to halt its annual service to and from Bermuda at the end of this month as airlines shift to their winter schedule.

The airline is expected to continue daily service to both Boston and New York until October 29, with neither flight scheduled for October 30 or 31.

Services to both destinations are expected to resume in the spring, with no flights to the island available through the JetBlue website until May 3, 2023.

Skyport had previously announced that they expected the service to resume in April 2023.

The Air Canada service to Toronto is scheduled to continue on Sundays and Fridays through much of the month.

While no Air Canada flight is included on the schedule for Sunday, October 30, there is a flight on the calendar for the following day.

British Airways has also appeared to alter its schedule towards the end of the October.

While the airline has flights scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for most of the month, the schedule also shows flights on the last two Sundays and last Monday.

BA flights delayed

A delayed British Airways flight has had a knock-on effect on the schedule of flights to London, according to Skyport.

Jason Inniss, Director of Airport Operations, said that Wednesday’s British Airways flight from London to Bermuda had suffered a 24-hour delay.

He said that both that flight and yesterday’s British Airways flight were expected to arrive on-island later yesterday, however only one of the BA flights would depart Bermuda last night.

“Today’s regularly scheduled flight will depart tomorrow, and tomorrow we will have one arrival and two departures,” he said yesterday.

American Airlines is scheduled to continue daily service to both Charlotte and Philadelphia, while Delta services to both New York and Atlanta are unchanged from September.

A single SATA airlines flight between Bermuda and Ponta Delgada, Azores, is scheduled to take place on October 26.

It had previously been announced that the airline would not resume the service until December and it is unclear if further flights are scheduled for November.
