All three people were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The head-on crash resulted in a three-hour road closure while the scene was processed.

Both motorcycles were written off.

The BPS spokesman said: “Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed or has information on this serious road traffic collision to please call 211 or, the main police number, 295-0011.”
