Motorcyclist injured after collision on bridge

A teenager was taken to hospital yesterday evening after a collision on Grey’s Bridge in Sandys.
A police spokeswoman said that officer received a report of a collision involving a light van and and auxiliary cycle at about 7.30pm
“Initial information suggests that the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the collision occurred,” she said.
“The 16-year-old male cyclist received multiple injuries and was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries. The male driver of the van was not reported to be injured.
“Traffic delays are to be expected while, police process the scene.”
