Men treated in hospital after two-bike crash in Paget
Two men are still in hospital after their motorcycles crashed in Paget yesterday, police said this afternoon.
Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The crash happened near the Rubis Paget Service Station at about 5pm yesterday.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “Details remain limited. However, it now appears that the two motorcycles were being ridden in opposite directions along Middle Road when they collided, near the junction with Valley Road.
“Both riders, said to be a 67-year-old Warwick man and a 64-year-old Paget man, were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of their injuries.
“At last check, the two men involved remained hospitalised, but their medical conditions were understood to be non-life threatening.”
Traffic was diverted for about two hours while police processed the scene.
Witnesses were asked to call 211.
