Partial closure of Harbour Road on Friday for trench work
Harbour Road will be closed to one lane this Friday morning and early afternoon in order for trench work to take place.
The works are scheduled to commence at 9.30am and finish at 2pm when the partial lane closure will be reopened.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Public Works said: “The traffic will be made to share a single lane between Morgan’s Road and Cobb’s Hill Road.
“Motorists when travelling will have to wait for the stop and go persons holding the signs, to allow traffic to flow pass the work site.
“Motorists are advised to plan accordingly.
“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full co-operation of the public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.“
Any questions regarding the partial lane closure should be directed to Carolina Orellana, highways design engineer for the department, by phone on 501-3031.
