Two boys were injured yesterday evening after a collision between a car and a bicycle near the junction of Brighton Hill Road and Brighton Lane in Devonshire.

Police were dispatched shortly after 7pm, a spokesman said.

The rider, a 13-year-old, was left with abrasions to his knees and hands, while his passenger, 7, sustained a suspected broken leg. They were both taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The male driver of the car was not injured.
