Rider seriously injured in Sunday night crash
A man is in intensive care at the hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Sunday evening on Crow Lane in Pembroke, according to police.
The single vehicle crash occurred at about 11.45pm as a 44-year-old man headed east on a motorcycle.
Details were limited, but the man appeared to be thrown from his vehicle near the road’s eastbound bus stop, a spokesman said.
Police and emergency medical service workers found him unconscious but breathing, with serious head and facial injuries as well as an injury to his left arm.
After treatment at the scene by EMTs, he was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Police said shortly after 5pm that he remained unconscious at last check.
The crash is under investigation, and anyone with information or who may have witnessed it is asked to contact Sergeant Jonathan Talbot on 717-2452 or 295-0011.
