Hamilton parking cards back online from Saturday

A glitch with swipe cards for three long-term parking lots in Hamilton has been fixed, the City has announced.

The cards, used for entry and exit at the Bull’s Head, Par-la-Ville and Elliot Street car parks, have been updated to resume working from Saturday.

Permit holders who paid for a permit in any one of the lots for June, and who could not access the car parks, will have their payment rolled over to July.

Cards for the Cavendish and King Street car parks remain problematic, with IT connectivity still under repair.

Users were asked to continue to use the pay stations instead.

The City thanked all affected motorists for their patience.
