A visitor from the US who was seriously hurt in a rental scooter crash last Sunday in Paget has been discharged from hospital, police said.

The 54-year-old woman sustained face and head injuries after losing control of the vehicle on Stowe Hill and striking a wall.

Police today confirmed that the visitor had been discharged from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
