Man arrested after fatal collision
A woman riding a motorcycle has lost her life in a collision at the West End.
The rider collided with a car on Somerset Road, near the junction with Clyde Best Lane, Sandys, at about 10.50pm on Thursday.
Police said that it appeared the two vehicles had been travelling in opposite directions.
The male driver of the car was not reported to be injured and has been arrested.
Traffic was diverted at Long Bay Lane and Gilbert Lane while police processed the scene.
The death is the thirteenth on Bermuda’s roads this year.
