Man injured in early-hours Devonshire crash
A man suffered serious head injuries in an early-morning crash in Devonshire.
The Bermuda Police Service said today that at about 3.20am police and emergency medical crews were sent to a reported single-vehicle crash that involved a motorcycle on Middle Road near the junction with Orange Valley Road.
It added: “Upon arrival, officers discovered a male with an apparent head injury lying unresponsive on the roadway.
“EMTs attended to him at the scene and he was subsequently transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of head and neck injuries, which are described as serious.”
Police said earlier that the road was closed to traffic while the scene was forensically processed, but it has since been reopened.
