A race on Good Friday will affect traffic in Warwick, the Ministry of Public Works has warned road users.

The PHC 1-mile run and walk will commence at Lindo’s Family Foods at 10am.

Participants will head along Middle Road, on to Stadium Lane and finish at PHC Field 1.

Road marshals will manage traffic and motorists are urged to be cautious in the area during the event, which is scheduled to finish by 10.30am.

“In addition, the Bermuda Police are hereby authorised to ‘close off' streets or portions of streets and authorise parking as the Commissioner of Police decides,” the ministry said.

It encouraged the public’s co-operation during the event and apologised for any inconvenience that may result.

Questions can be directed to race representatives K Charryse Bean at 536-5329, Milique Fubler at 504-7185, or Mike Trott at 336-8366.
