The Bermuda Bicycle Association Team Winners Edge bicycle race will affect traffic on roads in St David’s on Sunday, the Ministry of Public Works said.

Traffic control can be expected between 8am and 11am.

Cyclists will set off from Kindley Field Road, head east to the roundabout at Mullet Bay and proceed straight to St David’s Road up to Clearwater Middle School.

They will then turn right turn on to Pepper Hall Road, followed by another right turn on to Tommy Fox Road.

The riders will then head to the roundabout at Southside and Lower Gates roads and turn on to Lower Gates Road before making a left turn on to St David’s Road.

They will continue straight from the roundabout near Double Dip, head down Kindley Field Road over the Causeway to the Blue Hole Hill roundabout. They will return to end the race at Kindley Field Road.

The ministry encouraged the public’s co-operation during the event and apologised for any inconvenience.

“In addition, the Bermuda police are hereby authorised to close off streets or parts of streets and authorise parking as the Commissioner of Police decides,” the ministry added.

Questions about the race can be directed to Greg Hopkins on 295-6012.
