The Bermuda Bicycle Association race will start at Astwood Park on South Road at 7.30am.

Cyclists will then head east along South Road and turn left on to St Paul's Lane in Paget.

They will then turn left on to Middle Road and ride west towards Lighthouse Road in Southampton.

The riders will then continue and turn left on to South Road and proceed east to the finish line at Astwood Park.

No roads will be closed to traffic for the race, which is scheduled to finish by 11am.

In addition, no parking restrictions will be in place and motorists can park in designated parking bays along any part of the race route.

The ministry said: “Additionally, motorists must not block the race route or impede the participants in the bicycle race.”

It added: “The Commissioner of Police is hereby authorised to close roads or portions of roads and authorise parking as the Commissioner of Police decides in the interests of public safety.”
