Man injured in single-vehicle crash in Pembroke

A male motorcyclist was injured in a single-vehicle road traffic accident in Pembroke this evening.
The Bermuda Police Service said that at about 5.40pm, they were dispatched, along with other first responders, to the incident on Cavendish Road near the junction with Shelton Road.
A police spokeswoman said: “The male motorcycle rider was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries, the extent of which is not known at this time.
“Traffic was diverted away from the area for approximately 45 minutes while police processed the scene.”
Police are asking any witnesses to call 211 at the earliest opportunity.
