Middle Road dig this week to repair Belco cable

A damaged Belco cable requires roadworks on Middle Road, Southampton, near the junction with Scenic Heights Pass.
The Ministry of Public Works said this afternoon that a lane closure would go into immediate effect and last until Friday.
Repairs will run from 7.30am to 6pm, with signs, cones, lights and Belco staff to manage traffic.
Drivers were urged to use caution and advised that detours were available via Lighthouse Road or Camp Hill.
