Access to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital will be affected by crane operations this morning, the Bermuda Hospitals Board announced.

A BHB spokeswoman said there will be no through traffic on the hospital campus between Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road from 7am until noon.

She added: “The closure is necessary to facilitate a crane lift of construction materials.”

People will be able to access the hospital’s emergency department, as well as the Acute Care Wing entrance and visitor parking lot, from Point Finger Road.

Access from Berry Hill Road will stop at the Botanical Gardens gate to KEMH.
