Lane closure on Pitt’s Bay Road

A single-lane closure is in effect along a section of Pitt’s Bay Road in Pembroke where embankment stabilisation works are taking place, the Ministry of Public Works announced.

The ministry said the closure started on July 27 and will run until August 4.

It is in effect daily from 7am to 6pm along a 120ft stretch of Pitt’s Bay Road, between the Roxdene condominiums and Turnstile Lane.

Traffic control is being managed with stop and go signs under the direction of the contractor's representatives.

The ministry said: “Motorists are advised to plan for potential delays and use alternate routes where possible.”

The ministry asked for co-operation from the public and apologised for any inconvenience.

Questions about the works can be directed to the ministry’s representative on 501-3122.
