Middle Road work in Smith’s and Southampton
Motorists have been warned of lane closures on Middle Road that will take place in the coming weeks.
Sequential lane closures in Flatts will run from Store Hill to Flatts Hill when milling and paving takes place from 7.30am to 5pm.
The work will start on Wednesday and finish on September 27.
Motorists were encouraged to avoid the area by travelling on detour routes along South Road, Harrington Sound Road and North Shore Road.
Trenchwork on Middle Road near Industrial Park Road in Southampton will be carried out to improve drainage.
The work is scheduled to take place on Monday or Tuesday, depending on the weather, from 9am to 4pm.
Motorists who travel through the area were advised to travel with care.
