Causeway walls to be repaired this month
Updated: Sep 08, 2024 07:18 PM
The Causeway will be reduced to one lane of traffic later this month, the Ministry of Public Works said.
A spokesman said the closure would run from September 18 to 22 so the masonry wall could be repaired.
Work will be done from 9am to 5pm daily and the contractor’s representatives will manage traffic in the area with stop and go signs.
The ministry encouraged the public’s co-operation during the closure and apologised for any inconvenience.
Questions can be directed to contractor representative Fitzgerald Simons on 734-8078.
