Lane closure on North Shore Road

Part of North Shore Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic this month, the Ministry of Public Works said.
A spokesman said the westbound lane between Shelly Bay MarketPlace and Radnor Road in Hamilton Parish will be closed from September 17 to 30, so that trenching can be done to install a water line.
Work will be done from 7.30am to 5pm daily and Island Construction representatives will manage traffic with lights, signs and cones — but will allow access to the MarketPlace at all times.
The ministry encouraged motorists to use care in the area or detour via Harrington Sound Road, and apologised for any inconvenience.
Questions can be directed to Curtis Charles, the ministry’s construction and maintenance engineer, on 501-3036.
