Motorcyclist hurt after crashing into parked van

A 65-year-old motorcycle rider was taken to hospital on Sunday night after he struck a van on Khyber Pass Road in Warwick.

The Bermuda Police Service said the crash happened at about 6.30pm.

A spokeswoman said the rider was driving south on Khyber Pass when his motorcycle struck a parked van.

The man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that are considered serious.

Traffic was being diverted at Smiths Avenue and Middle Road while police processed the scene.
