Car overturns on Crow Lane in early-morning crash

A motorist escaped without serious injury after her car overturned on Crow Lane in the early hours yesterday.

The single-vehicle crash happened just after 1am between Flora Duffy Hill and Berry Hill Road.

According to police, the vehicle was being driven out of Hamilton when it struck a wall and overturned.

The driver, believed to be a 26-year-old Southampton woman, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance but was discharged after being medically assessed.

The damaged car was towed away from the scene.
