Traffic will be restricted to one lane on Trinity Church Road in Hamilton Parish for the election on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works said that traffic would flow southeast from North Shore Road to Wilkinson Avenue.

The restriction is necessary to accommodate operations related to the General Election and will be in effect between 8am and 8pm.

It will be managed with barricades, cones and signs. Police officers will be on site to direct motorists.

Drivers were urged to follow the designated traffic flow and use alternative routes via Wilkinson Avenue and Fractious Street.

Motorists who plan to travel through the area should expect delays and were advised to exercise caution.
