Traffic diverted after pedestrian hurt on Harbour Road

A pedestrian suffered a leg injury after being struck by a car in Warwick this morning, police said.

The Bermuda Police Service explained that at about 8.40am, officers attended the scene of a reported collision involving a car and a pedestrian near the junction of Harbour Road and Cobbs Hill Road.

“Details remain limited at this time, however, apparently the pedestrian sustained a leg injury,” the BPS said.

“A medical update is anticipated in due course. The car driver was not hurt.”

Officers were this morning diverting traffic away from the area at Cobbs Hill Road and Keith Hall Road. However, the diversions are no longer in effect.

Police urged any witnesses to the collision to call 211.
