A three-way collision in front of a major traffic junction did not result in any serious injuries, police confirmed today.
The crash happened yesterday at the junction of South Road and Middle Road in Paget at about 3.45pm.
A police spokesman said that the driver of a car travelling east on South Road lost control of the vehicle.
It collided with a westbound car waiting at the traffic lights.
The force of the collision pushed the stationary car into another car waiting behind it.
Police said the incident led to a “moderate disruption” to the flow of traffic and that diversions were put in place until the scene was cleared just before 5pm.
They thanked the public for their patience while the scene was processed.
