East End crash brings second road death of 2025
A male motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries this morning after a two-vehicle crash in St David’s.
A police spokesman said the collision happened on St David’s Road, east of the Southside Police Station at about 1.30am.
The incident, which resulted in the second road fatality of 2025, involved a motorcycle and a van.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said officers met first responders from the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service attending to the rider, who had suffered severe injuries and was unresponsive.
The injured man was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment, but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
The driver of the van was not reported to have been injured, the spokesman said.
Traffic was diverted between Stocks Road and Emily’s Bay Lane as the scene was processed by the police.
