Victim of fatal crash named
The motorcyclist killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday has been named as Lionel Thomas II.
Mr Thomas, 40, became the second road fatality of the year after a collision on St David’s Road, east of the Southside Police Station, at about 1.30am.
The driver of the second vehicle, a van, was not injured in the incident.
A police spokesman said that an investigation into the cause of the crash was continuing.
Mr Thomas was the son of the legendary St George’s Cup Match and Bermuda cricketer Lionel Thomas.
