Car knocks down utility pole in Sandys crash

A car collided with a utility pole in Somerset, forcing motorists to take alternative routes.

A statement on the Bermuda Police Service Facebook this afternoon said: “There has been a single-vehicle road traffic involving a motor car near Telford Electric on Somerset Road, Sandys.”

Westbound traffic was being diverted onto Cambridge Road and eastbound traffic onto Beacon Hill. Police advised motorists to approach the area with caution.
