Lane closure on Glebe Road bridge

A single lane closure will take effect on The Glebe Road bridge in Pembroke from Monday for three days, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment announced.

Traffic restrictions for the closure, from 9am to 3pm, were said to accommodate repairs to the bridge over Palmetto Road.

Traffic will be managed by the representatives of Sunrise Construction Ltd.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area where possible and take alternative routes via Marsh Folly Road and Bishop Spencer Road.

Those who wish to pass through should expect delays and proceed with caution.

The ministry apologised for any inconvenience.

Questions can be directed to Bernard Kunst, general manager of Sunrise Construction Ltd, on 541-3387.
