Tropical Storm Ian no threat to Bermuda

Tropical Storm Ian is not a threat to the island with the system expected to pass well to the east, according to the Bermuda Weather Service.
In its noon advisory, the BWS said the storm was about 776 nautical miles east-southeast of Bermuda.
Its closest point of approach within 72 hours is forecast to be 557 nautical miles to the east at 9pm tomorrow.
According to the United States-based National Hurricane Centre, the storm has maximum sustained winds of 45mph with higher gusts and is moving north-northwest at 13mph.
