Updated: Aug 20, 2021 11:29 AM
A tropical storm is not a threat to Bermuda at this time, forecasters said this morning.
TS Henri was said to be 510 miles west-southwest of the island and moving west-northwest at about 8mph at 6am today.
Its closest point of approach is expected to be 461 miles to the west-northwest at 8am on Saturday.
But the Bermuda Weather Service warned that the storm could potentially move closer to the island after that time.
Henri is at present packing winds of 63mph with gusts of almost 75mph.
