Hurricane Larry not a threat at present

Hurricane Larry is not a threat to Bermuda at present, forecasters said this afternoon.
The closest point of approach of the Category 1 storm is expected to be about 984 miles to the south east of the island at noon next Monday, although the Bermuda Weather Service said it could move closer after that.
The storm is about 1936 miles east south east of Bermuda and moving west north west at 16mph.
Larry is packing winds of 92mph with gusts of up to 115mph.
