No matter how many times you fail, get up and try again
This weekend I spoke to a friend about beginning again.
They hadn’t been training for a while and felt frustrated.
It’s one of the most challenging things to do for sure. We all do it. And we do it over and over and over again – we keep stopping our fitness plans.
We eat all the right foods, workout and follow our plans for a while and then, BAM! We stop. We fall off the wagon, get tripped up, get busy, get lazy or frustrated.
However it is never too late to start again. It is truly better to keep starting over, to keep trying even if you keep failing because one day you will learn and you’ll start getting it right.
Some people start every January; some people start again every Monday – no matter how many beginnings you have, beginning is the start of something new regardless of how many times you start over. You never really fail as long as you never really give up.
One of those beginnings will be victorious. One day you will try again to lose weight or get fit – and you will succeed.
Sometimes the journey can be long. A new start brings us a chance to change and improve the outcome. Be determined in your search to change. Let all of the barriers present the chance for a new beginning.
No matter how much you fall off the wagon this week, decide to begin again today!
