A salute to this year's top students

Today and next week, The Royal Gazette features the top students at Bermuda's educational institutions.

At our request, school principals identified the students who graduated with the top marks in their graduating class and the students were then interviewed by Royal Gazette junior reporters Adam Cooper and Kristy Warren, both of whom are students themselves and are spending their summer vacations learning the reporting trade.

After a year of major changes in the Island's schools -- accompanied by some controversy -- it is worth saluting some of the young Bermudians who have achieved high academic standards during their school careers.

Due to space limitations, two students, Tonya Trott from Clearwater and Trey Wade from Dellwood could not be featured on this week's page. They will be featured on next Saturday's Young Observer page.
