Celebrating youth
Youth Rally on Friday June 16.
The organisation was designed to educate young people about drug prevention and is in various schools around the island.
Programme coordinator, Danielle Riviere said the rally would encompass a variety of events to show the children a fun time.
"It's a celebration of young people trying to live a drug free lifestyle,'' she said. "We will have pony rides, fun castles, face painting, stage performances and lots more.
"We want this to be a family event, so I want to encourage parents to come out and take part.'' The programme also works to build community awareness about the pitfalls of drug abuse and Ms Riviere said they have had positive feedback from the community and the youth involved.
"We want to promote peer on peer interaction,'' she said. "It's completely a youth programme that celebrates our kids.'' The Pride Bermuda Rally will take place at the Bermuda College field from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
