Bermuda High School for Girls (BHS) invited Gilbert Institute and Heron Bay Primary to see a morning presentation of the production Annie.

This was the first time BHS had participated in an inter-school event of this type.

"BHS welcomes the recent encouragement from the Board of Education to connect with other schools in the community,'' said Headmistress Eleanor Kingsbury.

"In the spirit of Education Month, we were delighted to welcome to BHS one hundred students and teachers form two schools,'' she said.

Students were treated to a hot dog lunch after the performance. This also gave them the opportunity to get to mix and mingle.

BHS was pleased with the way the day had turned out and hope that this will not be the last time the schools will be able to get together.
