Teen dreams up game interface
online gaming console where other teens can interface on the Internet.
The Sega Dreamcast is a game console/cartridge system, completely out performing previous models that earlier generations of gamers still praise.
Responding to a surge in gaming popularity, Alexander Masters created a web site where people can connect and play -- via a "portal''.
The site, dcclimax.com, also features reviews, links, counters and other Internet goodies that most web surfers would be accustomed to.
Around 30 people are now regulars to the portal, gaming for up to four hours at a time.
The 15-year-old web master, known online as "emfinite'', goes to boarding school in Chesterfield, Britain.
He told Young Observer that emfinite is from a popular recording artist album.
"It was the only thing I was listening to for about six months, so I picked up the title.'' he said.
Now Emfinite has moved on to bigger projects, like designing a web page for his boarding school and expanding his gaming portal.
He plans to continue his online education, remaining close to computers into his career.
"I want to get into graphic design or web design. No one's really taught me anything, I've just been experimenting.''
