T.N. Tatem Middle School's gardeners bloomed during this year's Agricultural Exhibition.

Students had been hard at work since October, learning how to prepare a garden, how to plant slips and how to care for and nurture growing plants. Weeding, watering, and feeding gardens were skills the children became very accomplished with.

Their hard work and devotion paid off when the judging took place at the exhibition.

The M2 Mrs. Lowe group won first and second places for their red cabbage.

They also won first and second for their red onions. The M1 Chinchilla group won 3rd place for their white onions and first place for their red onions. The M1 Chinchillas also won an in-school competition for their cabbages.
