A group of Somersfield Academy students: Emilie Boucher, 14, Justice Hammer Furbert, 13, Sam Resnik, 13, and Eleanor Cox have hosted numerous events this year for their school annual community project. From movie nights, yard sales, trash clean ups, marshalling at the walk & roll and more, the students focus and goal has been to raise funds for WindReach; specifically a portable solar-panelled electrical fence for the animals. The group exceeded their target of $1,000 and in the end raised $2,835 for WindReach to purchase a portable fence.
